Importance of CSS in Web Sites
1. The content is separated from the design elements that make a website great.
you are able to create a separate Style sheet and link it to all your web documents, you have greater control over how your website looks and feels. So if you want to change a certain aspect of your page, you only need to alter one file: your Style sheet! Of course this, generates some great flexibility. Flexibility is not available when your website is using tables for layout.
A single CSS file can contain positioning, layout, font, colors, background images and style information for an entire web site.
